I am proud to announce our latest inductees into the hall of fame.  This award is long overdue and includes inductees not only for this past year, but or the past two years.  Everybody who has been inducted into the Hall of Fame has demonstrated a level of committment to the development community that goes well above the norm.  These individuals are the Rock Stars of the Development Community World.  Congrats to all!  Below, I am including the names of all of the inductees and a few words about each, describing the reasons that they were selected.

Lorenzo Barbieri
If there were a World Record for contributions to the development community, Lorenzo Barbieri would probably be in the Guiness Book right now. Although he has been rewarded 9 times, he has been quiet in Community Credit for the last several months. However, a testimonial to his activity is that even though he has not recorded his activities as of late, the enormity of his contributions clinched him in the #1 All-Time Contributor spot for close to a year.

Anand Narayanaswamy
Anand demonstrates that you can't keep a good man down. He has been rewarded a record breaking 17 times. This means that essentially every month that he has participated, he has been rewarded. Even under a curve, he is not deterred. When folks ask if the curve will make it impossible for them to win, I always point them to Anand's history.

Lou Vega
Lou Vega has been one of the Mainstay's of Community Credit. His profile speaks for itself. He has spoken at numerous Code Camps, user group meetings, he is an avid blogger, very active on discussion board and the many other things that truly help to support the development community. He is also a very motivational leader, always having words of encouragement to others in the development community and working with others to help them get started as speakers in user groups and code camps.

Simone Chiaretta
Simone has been active in the Development Community in some very unique ways. If you view his profile you will see that he has contributions in over 30 different categories. He is an extremely active bloger, blogging almost on a daily basis. He has also supported Community Credit in some very profound ways, the most notable being the developer of the Community Server Add On for community credit. That contribution is only rivaled by his integration of Community Credit into Subtext. With these integrations, he has helped others to get recognized and truly spread the underlying message of Community Credit.

Jeff Julian
Jeff Julian is a Rockstar that is known far and wide. Although relatively new to Community Credit, Community Credit has known and respected him for the longest time through his involvement in User Groups, Conferences and numerous Developer Communities. One of his most widely known communities is GeeksWithBlogs.net, which is a veritable who's who of well respected Geek Bloggers.

Brad Jones
Brad Jones is also a very prolific winner, having been rewarded 13 times. Brad is another contributor wins almost every time he records his contributions. One of the nice aspects of Brad's involvement in the community is that, although he has been rewarded with some very cool prizes, he offers them to his user group as raffle prizes. It is a nice way to inspire others to participate.

Michele Locuratelo
Michele has been very long overdue to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. On top of all of his contributions to the development community in Italy, he is one of the folks that helps to approve submissions. Past accomplishments include helping to reward a member of his community, DotNetSide.org, with a Visual Studio Team Suite (one which he could have kept, but selflessly made sure that his community members receieved it instead.).

HimaBindu Vejella
HimaBindu is a very active member of many different communities, an active MVP and is recognized as a leading contributor to numerous communities. One aspect of Hima that I think differentiates her from many of her peers is how she is very encouraging to others in her posts and is always helping others. On top of that, her profile shows a wide variety of submissions types spanning almost 40 categories.

Sukanya Vejella
Sukanya, also an MVP, is one who has a very impressive history of contributions to the development community. She is a very active contributor on discusson boards, often answer between 10 to 20 questions per day. Sukanya has been rewarded in Community Credit on five different occassions and has recorded over 1200 submissions to date.

Scott Dorman
Scott Dorman, a C# MVP, is one of the members of the community that I know personally and I can attest to his contributions to the development community since I have participated in many of them with him. He is a frequent speaker at User Groups and CodeCamps, he Blogs like a madman and a very well respected member of many communities, including CodeProject where he was named a CodeProject MVP this year. He has been rewarded 5 times in Community Credit and has logged almost 2,000 submissions.

Emanuele Mattei
Emanuele is a very serious member of the Developer Community in Italy. While he has only been rewarded twice, which is low in comparison to some of the other members being recognized, he was the grand prize winner in both of the months in which he participated.

Vito Arconzo
Vito Arconzo is a very active member of our community. Not only has he written his first book on WPF over the last year, but he has been an extremely active blogger, including giving regular feedback to blog posts of others. He is also a very frequent participant in discussion boards. Vito has been rewarded 8 seperate times in Community Credit.

Marco Minerva
Marco has been extremely active over the last year and if you view his profile, you have to scroll down quite a bit to see all of his contributions. In his history, he has been rewarded on 7 different months.

Mickey Gousset
Mickey Gousset, a Team Systems MVP, has been a very active blogger, blogging on an almost daily basis. Mickey runs a site, TeamSystemsRocks.com and the name speaks for itself regarding his attitude toward Teams System. In addition to his blogging, he has a very regular series of Webcasts on Team Systems. Mickey has been rewarded 5 times in Communnity Credit.

Stephan Schmidt
Stephan Schmidt has also been active in community credit for a very long time. He has a very active community, SmartPhone-Web.com as well as an MVP and he was been rewarded time after time by consistently submitting the great content that he publishes on his website. On any given day, he publishes high quality content on his site.

Deepak Vasudevan
Deepak Vasudevan has been a supporter of the development community for as long as I have known about him as well as being a great supporter of Ccommunity Credit. Although many people may not be aware of his contributions in community credit, he is always suggesting improvements to it and feedback, many times in very technical details. He is also very well known and recognized by virtually every development community that he is involved in. He is a great leader among geeks.

Alex Januschewsky
Alex Januschewsky, a Windows Mobile MVP, is a very well known and well respected champion in the Austrian IT Professionals community. His list of presentations at User Groups and Conferences seems to go on almost indefinitely and pales only in comparison to his list of published articles. From a website perspective, he is best known for his site Mobility News. As a result of his overwhelming level of contributions, he earned nearly 1 million points of recognition in just a few short months and you always new when he was involved. He has been in the All Time contributors list since June of 2006.
