  Hello All,      Welcome to the first posting of my new blog, "This week in Community-Credit Geek Humor". Since this is the very first one, I am including bits way before this week and some of the funniest geek bits that I have ever seen can be found here.  Consider the extra bits a bonus and an effective way to avoid working for hours.  Every Week, I will be adding new stuff to the Geek Humor section of the Community-Credit discussion board.  I have a rule.... Saying Yes, the worst job ever? This video puts the most obnoxious and hated person into the right perspective. Mac equals Suck This is a classic spoof on apple ads from a guy who LOVES macs. Microsoft LiveMeeting commercial An oldie, but goody demonstrates the an understated benefit of using Live meeting and just working from home.  It really zings you from out of nowhere Email Santa Instead I never gave you anything for Christmas. Here is a video that will ruin your vision of Santa and encourage you to email instead of writing him. This may also explain, in an all too disturbing way, why I never got a reply from that letter that I wrote to Santa when I was 6. "Ok, sir, did you boot it up? No sir, do not kick it! Is it started yet?" The Office: The Halloween party This episode takes place on the day of the Office Halloween Party. Well, the boss has to fire somebody based on orders from the higher ups. He is having a really difficult time in deciding who to pick. He can not make the decision because he abhors being the bad guy and is trying to get others to make the decision for him. He asked a few others who to recommend, but nobody wants to be the person to decide which of their colleagues gets fired. That is the boss's job, after all. Dwight, on the other hand, is all too happy to name just about anybdoy in the office, except himself. The exchange between Dwight and the Boss is hilarious, especially when you factor in the costumes. The Office: Email Surveillance This episode involves Michael (the boss) getting caught doing email surveillance on the office. This is the funniest justification for Big Brother ever!!!! The Office: Prank on Dwight "Where is my desk?" Okay, calm down... Where is the last place you left it?" I am not sure what is funnier, the prank, or the fact that he actually starts working at his desk afterwards. So, it does not qctually fall into the humor category, but it is worth seeing for sure. It is actually some form of commercial, but I have watched it about 7 times and emailed it to a bunch of friends. Here is the premise "View the story of a top executive who focuses on processes and efficiency but forgets his people. Key employees quit. Customers look elsewhere. The business suffers. But the executive learns how well-chosen new technology can help motivate people and accelerate the business by connecting people to information on customers, inventory, shipping, and to each other.
