Well the time has come for me to start my venture into blogging about Silverlight. Yes, folks, this is it! I have come across many techniques, tools, resources and so many other Silverlight related topics that I would love to blog on, but.....nuttin..... until now. So look forward to many an interesting blog post to come from yours truly on my Silverlight On Silverlight blog.
So let me start the ball rolling with an announcement of something that you absolutely must attend if you have the chance. It is the Opening of the new Microsoft Store in Southern California... the Mission Viejo community to be more specific. This event is one of those events that you should attend if you are in the SoCal area and buy a plane ticket for if you aren't.
On top of the sheer coolness of a Microsoft Store opening with all of the geeky glitz and glamour that you can handle, there will be some very interesting folks attending. These are the corporate folks that you just WILL NOT want to miss. And if that isn't enough there will be a concert to boot. It is going to be a Microsoft event that you will definitely remember.
Earlier tonight, I received an email from Kim Schmidt, who has been involved in the store opening from the very beginning and she was very excited to email me the official announcement. Up to now, she has been in "top secret" mode and would not reveal any details no matter how much I bugged her. The only thing that she would reveal is just how cool this store is going to be. So here I am including an email that I received from her earlier today. There is a chance for some special invitation only perks. I can't make any promises, but.... if you drop me an email, you may be able to get in on some additional surprises. If you would like to find out more, please do not hesitate to ping me about it either through email (DavidSilverlight@hotmail.com) or Twitter (HeadGeek).
Now for the big news....
