Movie [~] Mole v4 Training Video Series On YouTube

I have taken the plunge into the world of training videos.  I have uploaded two short videos that cover different aspects of Mole v4.  I'll add more over the next week or two until I've covered Mole.

So far, people like them and have left some very positive feedback.

The real reason for publishing these videos was to allow someone to just see Mole v4 in action.  I know for me, a short video and I'm ready to go.

Have a great day and enjoy Mole!

    Cheers,

    Karl

BTW - I haven't checked out the videos yet, but what are you using to produce them? I've started thinking about putting together some videos on Mobile development and I know a lot of folks are using either Camtasia or CamStudio - I've got both but haven't used them yet. Gonna give them a try later this week.

    Hey Lou!

I'm using Camtasia Studio version 4.  After saving the video in the native format, I exported to .avi and uploaded to YouTube.   I recorded using 640 x 480.  YouTube the does its thing.

My .avi files are 7MB and 11MB so far.  I wish there was a place to post the .avi files so that people could view them the way I recorded them and could go full screen too.

Any rate, its free and I'm happy.  I'm so surprised too.  Lots of viewers, good commnets and several blog entires, including folks I never heard of before.

I guess there is nothing like some video.  I'll do many more of these.

    Cheers,

    Karl

    Lou,

Don't even think about sleeping tonight until you have watched the two very short videos, read these comments and tried this thing!!!!

Read commnets at bottom of article:  http://www.codeproject.com/KB/macros/MoleForVisualStudioEdit.aspx

I'm very interested in your comments.

Bill Jones from Charlotte Developers GUILD booked me for the Jan 2008 meeting as soon as he looked at Mole v4.  Trust me, you will LOVE Mole!

    Cheers,

    Karl

OK - I'll watch the videos....but be warned, Charlotte is only a short drive from Charleston - perhaps after I see them I'm gonna want to book you for a future Greater Charleston .NET User Group meeting! Big Smile

Wow - OK I watched both videos and now I'm going to download Mole v4 and bookmark the Codeproject article so I can print it tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with Mole - like you said in the video, it's not so much about whether Karl (or Lou) can make a pretty colored app, but rather the possibilities you have with this much feedback/information on your apps.

BTW - we have a speaker for February, but I think we're open in March if you're interested in a short drive to sunny Charleston, SC Big Smile

    Awesome!

I was hoping you'd speak about Mole/WPF but if you have another topic, let me know. I'll e-mail you off the discussion boards to work out full details but the date would be either March 13, or March 20.
