I've got Community Server pushed up to our vps, including the databases it generated and I modified locally, and I've got a SQL server instance including an url and credentials.

The trick, the way I see it, is to move the database from my local up to the VPS, attach it to the SQL instance that's available, get SQL running on the instance, and then configure the Community Server that is loaded to access the database that we just attached up.

Now I'm installed, but I can't log in as admin to get the site set up. It's pretty, looking all default and whatnot, but I need to set permissions or something.

I'm all set up - on the IP address. As soon as I can figure out where to change it so that it recognizes logins at the domain name, we're gonna be golden.

Continuing the fine tradition of replying to myself, I can now report that this is all about the DNS. Whether it's the DNS server, or the host settings, I do not know.
