    Free .NET 3.0 training videos!

Doug Turnure, Todd Fine, Mark Dunn and Brian Hitney have produced a series of training videos covering the 4 core parts of .NET 3.0 and released them to the world on the .NET University web site.

If you haven't previously checked out .NET University you really should. We hosted one in Charleston last year around this time and it proved quite popular.

Get the video's free by visiting their course content area here: http://www.dotnet-u.com/coursematerials.aspx - and while you are there pick up some slide decks and hands on labs covering the material too!

Yeah - for those who might want to plan on hosting a .NET University, let me know I can give you some pointers. It's a blast to get a bunch of folks together for some free training - and as David mentioned, organizing or even attending .NET University can earn points here!

Yeah, you are a bit of a distance..   BTW, do you know Marlon Grech?  He is the only other person in the world that I know who is from Malta.

I do not know him personally, but I did read about his blog on community-credit.com. I contacted him by e-mail and got to know a little bit more about him. He must be a good programmer to be working at Uniblue. They have some of the best Maltese programmers.

Is it possible to host a .NET University without having someone who's previously attended? I'm hoping to help boost the community events in Baton Rouge and looking for ideas. I'm really into having a yearly Day of .NET started, and I know others are interested in codecamps and code dojos. A .NET U would be a great thing too.

    FYI,

There are upcoming .NET U resources on Silverlight and Framework 3.5. I'm hoping that we can get a .NET U going locally, I do hope that we start having event committee meetings soon >.<

There are a lot of videos on UML, .NET from http://www.questpond.com/ too. But I am  not sure about their shipment policies outside India.
