The Wiggles are huge w/ the under 6 set. This video is from early on when their production values were low. The puppets, with those huge black eyes, could give a little kid nightmares.

I took my two daughters to see the Wiggles in concert a couple of years ago. Imagine the scene - 800 screaming children, 100 bemused parents and me - the only dad who would get up and dance with his kids. The wives in the audience thought I was a great dad and the husbands were ready to kill me. Still, at least the members of the band came down into the audience - my two thought it was marvellous; they got to meet Jeff Phat.

their eyes and the way the puppets smile are creepy. when i was young, i used to find the witch from Snow White and the Seven dwarves as creepy. I used to go hide behind the sofa when it was her scene.
