 - That may be the single best description of the election night that I have heard so far.  At least, from a computer Geeks Standpoint.

Election night is over, I hope things turned out the way you might have wanted

I believe either President would have done sufficiently, but had something happened to McCain I fear how Palin would (and already has) make us look. That said, many of the people in my area (Louisiana, mostly republican) were outraged. Many people I know voted solely on the issue of religious beliefs, and were disgusted with the outcome.

I think Obama really does bring home a new age for the US, and I expect that what he acheives in his term will be great. However, as always, I'm open to being proven wrong.

I'm afraid I cannot be the one to prove you wrong, especially since it's his first day and since I am not an American, but a European.

 I didn't want Obama or McCain in particular to win, but I was afraid of Palin - knowing what she had already done and the fact that she's a hunter in Alaska (yes, I am an animal lover). I am also afraid of the fact that Obama is the first african-american President, and you will never know what changes he may bring to accomodate his race.

I believe that he is professional and serious enough to not be into racism, and will treat everyone equally. I am hoping that he would put what he proposed into facts and give an example to the world by stopping the war in Iraq. (I read that it would take him around a year and a half to make this possible). I saw a bit of his speeches from last night and I am amazed.

I think that America has made the right choice, and I too think that he's bringing a new age for the US.

Personally I'm less worried about any strong changes in racism. I'm hopeful that the idea of a black president will really help highlight that this is a place where equal rights are not only available, but are now proven. I don't believe he'll shift the power of race, but I really do hope he brings them equal once and for all. Hopefully this will help lead us away from even needing to be amazed that we have a black / white / hispanic / female / old / young president. Those lines don't need to be drawn, and the more we become estranged from their "necessity" the better.

Well, we can't have an election in the states without some type of glitch.  This one is pretty major and may disappoint alot of Obama supporters.  Obama may not be president after all.

Thanks.  Yes, it actually did.  I was a huge supporter of Obama and would have been pretty upset if he had lost.  Today, the air is just a bit sweeter and the sun is shining brighter.  

OH MY GOD I just realised about this you tube video.. and wow it really is hilarious David!

The world would be such a scary place if it were to be driven by machine Presidents! Thanks for sharing.
